Sweet Creek Falls, Mapleton, OR

I was showing a fellow photographer how to shoot long exposure water shots for this particular trip to Sweet Creek. I had never visited in Spring. While the sun was high and bright most of the day, it had moved just in time for us to shoot the main fall. It continues to surprise me how these little bits of hidden paradise are all over the state of Oregon. The funny thing is that I lived only 20 miles from here for a good part of my early teens and didn't know this place existed.
